INGREDIENTS
250g Semolina
650ml Water
75ml Ram Gheeâ„¢
5g Mustard Seeds
2g Black Gram Dal
2g Bengal Gram Dal
100g Onions
5g Green Chillies
25g Cashew Nuts
2g Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Coconut, Grated
PREPARATION
Step 1
Boil the water. Slice onions and cut the chillies lengthwise.
Step 2
Heat the deep pan with Ram Gheeâ„¢. Add mustard seeds. When crackling, add the dals and saute until golden.
Step 3
Add onions, curry leaves, cashew nuts and green chillies. When the onions are translucent, add semolina and saute.
Step 4
Add the boiling water and stir rapidly with the salt. When the moisture is absorbed, the upma is cooked.
Step 5
Mix well and garnish with grated coconut and corainder leaves.
