INGREDIENTS
2 Cups All Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Baking Soda
1+1/2 Cup Ram Ghee
4 Eggs(Yellow and White Separated)
1/2 Cup Milk
2 Tsp Sugar
1/2 Tsp Vanilla Essence
PREPARATION
Step 1
In a bowl sift together All purpose flour, Baking Powder, and Baking Soda.
Step 2
In another bowl, beat together Ram Ghee and Powdered Sugar with a electric beater on medium speed until light and fluffy. Then add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each inclusion.
Step 3
With the beater on low speed,alternately add flour and milk to Ram Ghee mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
Step 4
In another bowl whisk egg whites, then gradually add 2tsp sugar, 1/2tsp vanilla essence and continue to beat untill stiff. Fold egg white mixture into the Ram ghee mix.
Step 5
Pour the batter into a well-greased cake tin. and bake in a preheated oven of 350F for 50-55 minutes, or till a wooden skewer inserted into the centre of cake comes out clean.
